The foreign and domestic security policy program covers a range of activities, including: an annual one-day graduate student-led conference on contemporary security matters; an annual conference or workshop on Canadian civil-military relations; an examination of the "whole of government" 3D (defence, diplomacy and development) approach to national security and international intervention, and any follow-on government policy approaches to those issues; the offering of full-year courses in contemporary Canadian and international security issues; the sponsoring and promotion of research in related fields with results published; an examination of Canada-United States security issues; the provision of expert advice and testimony to Parliament, government departments, and the media; and, support to the Centre's Fall and Winter Seminar Series.
