The Centre for Foreign Policy Studies is now the research and administrative arm of the Child Soldiers Initiative. This is a project developed and led by Lieutenant-General the Honorable Romeo A. Dallaire (Ret'd) in partnership with Search for Common Ground, the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre, the University of Victoria and the University of Winnipeg in association with UNICEF Canada and Ishmael Beah, aimed at eradicating the use of children as soldiers.
